Sometimes, His plan leads us to unexpected places, just as it led his disciples through Samaria. What surprising journey might Jesus be preparing for you?

    Jesus’ Baptism – John 3:22-36

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” (v.30)

John’s message of repentance was intended to lead disciples to Jesus. When division arose amongst two sets of disciples, John brings clarity that all of those being baptized were doing so to be prepared for the Messiah. John’s intent is to bring unity, where human logic brought disunity. Jesus was, and is, the focal point of baptism!
